In March 2023, I was honoured with the 'Academic of the Year' award at the 'UK African and African Caribbean Muslim Awards 2023'. This award recognised my contributions to scholarship as an educator in the field of social science across the UK. 

 In October 2023, I received the 'Inspirational Person of The Year' award at the 'Black Owned Birmingham Awards 2023'. This award was a testament to the impact and inspiration I've been able to impart within the community.
