In 2025, Craig received the Community Champion Award at the Power of Man Awards, recognising his continued contribution to communities, young people and violence prevention.

In 2024, Craig received the REYAC Awards ‘Empowering Others’ award, recognising his work in supporting and uplifting others through education, leadership and community impact.

In 2023, Craig was awarded ‘Academic of the Year’ at the UK African and African Caribbean Awards, recognising his contribution to scholarship, social science and public education.

Craig has also received the Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Paper, the Midlands Business and Community Charity Awards ‘Most Inspirational Person of the Year’, the University of Birmingham ‘Spotlight on Great Teaching’ Award, Youth for Excellence ‘Educator of Excellence’ Award, Success Makers ‘Trainer of the Year’ Award, and the Community Champion Award.
